Plate 00 — Studio statement

Editioned works in a new medium.

aworldofart is a curated AI-art house — a publisher of editioned print works in a new medium, not a generator or marketplace. The studio releases five collections at launch: Brutalist Florals, Neo-Tokyo Botanica, Decayed Renaissance, Quiet Geometries, and Tidal Cartographies. Each collection is twelve plates, available as a high-resolution digital download from $12 and as archival giclée prints in four sizes (12×16 to 36×48) framed or unframed, from $39 to $279. Numbered editions are produced on cotton rag in editions of fifty per plate.

From the journal

“We don't generate art. We commission it from a new kind of studio process — then we name it, edition it, and put it on a wall.”

— The studio, from the introduction to Brutalist Florals

Frequently asked

What does "directed AI art" mean?
A named curator sets the brief — palette, references, plate sequence — and directs the generation. The studio retains every decision a print house would normally make: which images survive, in what size, on what paper, in what edition.
Are these limited editions?
The 36×48 cotton-rag tier is a numbered edition of fifty per plate. All other sizes are open editions. The studio does not destroy plate files, but the numbered tier is the only signed/numbered variant.
What is the print medium?
Archival giclée on matte fine-art paper (default), semi-gloss museum, or 100% cotton rag. Pigment inks, rated to last over 100 years under normal conditions.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. Print fulfillment is handled by regional print partners (US, EU, UK, AU) so most orders ship from inside the buyer's region. Digital downloads are delivered instantly worldwide.
